​Whistler Productions was founded in 2013 by Emre Baris in Washington D.C.

Born in Turkey, raised most of his life in Canada, Emre has traveled extensively and has lived in Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Copenhagen, New York City, and now Washington D.C. where he currently resides.   Following his graduation from University of Toronto where he majored in Human Biology and Anatomy/Physiology and played varsity tennis, his training continued at the New York Conservatory of Dramatic Arts School of Film + Television.  Certified by the United States Professional Tennis Association as well as a certified Emergency Medical Technician, and completely fluent in French, Spanish, and Turkish has enabled Emre to be a very versatile producer and actor.  In May 2011, Emre performed Shakespeare's Two Noble Kinsmen in London, UK and trained there at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts with renowned acting coach John Barton.
